Greed! Dont think there is much around.
It has all been crushed but not priced!
Done our last bit on the crush scheme last week after it went up a few quid , worst price we achieved all year unfortunatly but shutting down soon so we're worried it would drop more but who knows.Greed! Dont think there is much around.

Hmm decisions decisions...
Barley Harvest £110
Barley Nov £122
Wheat Sept-nov £142
Sold some barley at £120 already a few months back. And some wheat at £132. Quite tempted with feed wheat at £142
Do you know how much the prices have risen on the back of the pound

whats all this talk of barley £105 does no one on here grow it for malting?
Sorry, I dont enjoy growing products on the promise of great premiums only for the end user to attempt to bum me from angles even I had previously not considered possible without being double-jointed.

Yes mabye 1 year in 5 you will get hit with a lot of rejections but surely worth the risk to get £155 rather than 105 with higher drying costs?Sorry, I dont enjoy growing products on the promise of great premiums only for the end user to attempt to bum me from angles even I had previously not considered possible without being double-jointed.

Have you looked at Craft? some useful contracts about.Winter is feed. Spring is malting when grown. I only grow malting when it is going to go to a central store.
