Man phoned, offered price - said I would do 3 loads !
Think there is more to come for 2018 harvest and I don't usually sell before sowing. However there are more uncertainties with 2019 than we have ever had and the fertiliser is 50% bought.

was that delivered? or did you mean Nov 18? Like @Chae1 said, it's a weird price given current Scottish markets.

Any predictions as to the spot price of malting barley in NE Scotland this harvest?

Looking at crops it’s going to be very hard to call until combines roll..

That’s my thinking as I drive on sprayer observing “the good, the bad and bloody awful bits”

For now am gonna sit on my hands and see where it goes.... hard to see the price going back..

30/40 cwt acre crops bound to make a big hole in the available pile of malting/feed
