Sold a bit off the combine at £135, and have had a number of enquiries since quoting that price.
Not very exciting is it . 1970s prices with double the costs .

I think there’s a bit of a premium as not many round here have started combining . Had a few farmers looking for some, as well as the trade

ADM are being pretty slow to collect my balance of feed wheat. Despite this I get a text from them saying the are “strong buyers” of July wheat!

So did I. All wheat gone now last went on Monday, nice to get the grain store empty it's s shame it won't be as full this year

I sold some £131 delivered 25miles away grr

I've got some w barley going for £140 ton harvest to suit a local mill. I've also sold a bit more for Nov @ £140.

Sold a little bit of wheat for Nov averaging £171. And some beans for £190 + HC premium.

Not sure if its the right or wrong thing but won't sell anything else for a bit now. I don't think my yields are going to be rock bottom although down on last year.

The rest of the crop I can sit on for a while and see what happens. I expecrt it will mean Jan or afterwards sales

It’s a livestock area and I have 3 farmer customers all looking for a bit when I’ve time to deliver it .

I sold a couple of loads of wheat for October moment at £174.50. But that sale was two or three weeks ago . I will see what’s harvested before any more sales .

That load was to a merchant. If i deliver to local farms it's a bit dearer. lucky in having a weighbridge 2 mins away and one customer over the road.
