The smaller figure is of 5.9 kmh is where the cruise control is set the larger figure is my actual speed .Most of that field was combined at the faster of the two.Did 4 14 ton trailers of 24ac and 80 round bales not a prize winner

Doesn’t sound too bad for the year. Got bid 127 or something like that for 1.7 propino. Also bid 172 soft wheat and 205 feed beans. Both of which seemed better than the malting barley price.

Indeed. I was bid plenty more than £120 today. Harvest delays and shorts. As all these boats are leaving UK shores, at the same time winter barely yields were "sh!t" and folk are being pleased to get 2t of spring. Chickens coming home to roost.

Can get £135 around here for feed barley .
It’s not about, and the spring stuff still to combine is either on the floor starting to germinate, or if it’s not on the floor is a poor crop . Hold onto it . These livestock lads are trying to beg it atm.

A local chicken farm was ringing around looking for 300 tons of barley , and they grow quite a bit .
it should be £150 all day long really

I’ve got a bet on with my favourite trader that barley will be £150/t before Christmas. As @silverfox says it’s £133-5 in Shropshire now. He thinks there’s no chance but if the wheat /barley gap closes to £20/t instead of the frankly ridiculous £35 we’d be there.
