We sold out of 2020 harvest wheat yesterday and averaged £191 . Have done a few hundred ton for harvest 21 at £151 and a few hundred ton for nov at £160 .
Moved two loads of feed wheat for collection next week at £195 and a load of biscuits wheat for Jan @ £198
To quote Monty Python " you lucky ba*****rd"
Prices yesterday for Jan £185/t for feed wheat and £191 for may!!!!
And that doesn't mean that it's dropped a lot, it just never got there apparently!
Oh, the joys of farming in the SW!

Hang on a minute, if you're growing grain in a net demand area, you should be getting £10/t more than the East Coast... There's no coincidence that most of the Futures stores are in the East.
