Is that wheat fit to harvest? Anything which had the heads above the water should be harvestable, but with the amount of rain on it it’s stock feed not milling wheat now. Any chance of getting a header on those paddocks soon Roy as it looks like there will be more rain this week.

had about the same amount unable to load due to access issues/door damage as require stores emptying due to roof damage. A sorry state of affairs for all affected.

I’ve sold some wheat today for £231 dec collection and sold my first loads for 22 harvest £200 October. Merchant says that the price of maze is competitive so wheat won’t shoot up anytime soon.

Yes but for feed value if it wheat goes up it makes maze cheeper so they’ll buy that instead.

I got told how competitive maize was when wheat was 160 and wheat couldn't go higher, fast forward 4 months and I think he may have been a little bit wrong!!!
