But unless you're locked in, and only a true gambler would lock in that proportion of crop that the extra fert will get you, how do we know what wheat prices will be at Harvest?
I have enough fert to give my wheat. 100%, unfortunately not bought at the bottom of the market but thankfully not at the top. I'm still thinking I may reduce my rate and carry some over. The CF technical guy however, said if you've got it, use it. After saying we really don't need to use as much as we have been?Lock in enough to cover the extra cost of fert.
