Well, thats me done for the year. Being told there are few homes looking for May wheat now.
I’m holding a couple of hundred tonne back. This is starting to look like an all growth season and no grain. Just like 2012. bit of an insurance on the 67 Sp weight we will probably get. What a horrible spring we are having.
you'll set me off having nightmare's again!
2012 was a very profitable year. sh!t wheat though. First year I got £200 tonne. Without deductions of course. 22 quid was the biggest from memory.

Sold 3 loads on Monday, moving it next Monday!! If the trade is that concerned it has too much wheat for may, why don’t they move it early??
Maybe going into the buyers store , if it is it should tell us something
AHDB said 15.5 million tons last year No rain but yielded over 5 year av plus 1% increase in acreage Does that add up ? This year spring barley down but winter barley and rape up more But winter wheat up 1% again Land lost to building,green schemes etc Who is making the extra land ??
