On the subject of prices, sold the last 5 loads of '22 feed wheat on Monday in the rally on Graindex for £217 ex, spot July, first load moved this morning. Suspect the price is back to sub £200 again...

Not barley, but it reminds me of the American corn and soya farmers nickname for wheat: "poverty grass".

And with barley at such a discount to wheat it also reminds me why I haven't grown it since 2002 (£68/t ).
