Does anyone know the main model numbers of combines for the following?

NH machines around 20ft cut 2002-2008

The replacement for the axail flow 2388

And what model JD had a 20ft cut in and around the year 2002-2008?

@Drillman what about Claas? Or do you simply think you get more bang for your cash with the other brands?

Never hear of anyone complaining about the reliability of an axial-flow, or the daily capacity, if you can live with the smashed up straw.

JD would either be 9580 (5 walker) or 9640/60 (6 walker). We ran a 9660 with a 22ft cut from 2003-2014. Good machine and had very few issues with it.

I was speaking to my local aircon specialist the other day who as you know runs his own Claas combine. They are a very good machine, the rolls Royce in my eyes but unfortunately do command a price premium because of it.

We bought a lexion 430 for £24000 3 years ago 2600 engine hours on it. Been a good combine it’s a bit big for 220 acres but when the corns dry you can go get 20 acres in an afternoon. Do know of a axial flow 1660/1680 local to me that’s for sale 3500 hours 20 ft I think
