Commercial Vehicle mechanic & Commercial trailer fitter
Plowman Brothers Limited are a York based Fabrication / Engineering Company. Due to continued growth, we are looking for motivated and proactive individuals to support our workshop team. This is an exciting opportunity with good prospects for progression. Applicants are expected to be apprentice trained or time served in the commercial vehicle industry. In addition to this further specific training would be provided.
40 Hours per week + Overtime (Salary above average for role)
Description of role
- Piping and wiring of new trailers and refurbishments
- Service inspections on trailer hire fleet
- Pre delivery inspection
- Fault finding
- Experience of working with hydraulics and electrics would be an advantage but not essential

Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
