Ah great thanks.Travis perkins sell it, or Amazon does believe it or not.
possibly the mould release agent? What do the pros put in pre cast concrete I always think it smells of plastercine
Yes probably 20 mile plus , new company coming at 8am with 21cube tho ! I have a one cube mixer and my own aggregate I recon with a mould I could make a cubical for 30 40 quid excluding metal work . If it works big saving , I made gate posts and been good so far .possibly the mould release agent?
round here if i wanted a small amount of concrete mix id get the local concrete supplier at the quarry to mix me up a dry batch, fibers in it if you want, they will mix anything from 0.25 of a cube meter.
its a lazy way of doing it but the quarry is only 15mins away, im guessing your local concrete crowd could be a tad further away.
thats a decent dizzy.Yes probably 20 mile plus , new company coming at 8am with 21cube tho ! I have a one cube mixer and my own aggregate I recon with a mould I could make a cubical for 30 40 quid excluding metal work . If it works big saving , I made gate posts and been good so far .
Interested in this also Hilly. Any chance of some pics of gate posts as been looking at the Moore ones recently. Like the idea of not replacing in my lifetime . Looked at the portable cubicles too but think I'm more leaning towards a Orkney floor type setup for practicality.Yes probably 20 mile plus , new company coming at 8am with 21cube tho ! Not made one yet but I might make a mould in the holiday period just put a bit of tube in one end to hold the metal work when in place , removable then when I take them out the shed in summer can stthats a decent dizzy.
plenty of cement to toughen it up, of a good quality cement that is.
the fibers arent dear so any help is better than none.
have you a pic of one til i see what your on about, curiosity just.

Yes I’m better with the spirit level than the cameraThe posts look great, but did you lose the spirit level?
Forklift only weight12inch! Bet they were heavy! We made 4 9inch ones the last time we were laying concrete, good job for that bit concrete that is always left at the end.
Not entirely sure, I could easily put some mesh in, probably just do both to be honest .surely its rebar that properly reinforces concrete not fibres ?
I was scrolling down to say the same, fibres only really help prevent surface cracking, unless they are 'dumbell' types they won't add too much to the overall strnegth I believe.surely its rebar that properly reinforces concrete not fibres ?
