Concrete panel repair

Currently having a new building erected and 4 concrete panels have been chipped approx 6 inch square pieces have come off,I have questioned this but they Told me they can be repaired,but I have my doubts if the repair will last has anybody else had any repaired.

If you are paying for a new building based on a quotation them you should expect it to be “right” not bodged. I would reject them.

Speak to the concrete panel makers, they usually do a tub of repair mortar which works well.

Oh come on! Tell your shed man to get them changed. How much has that shed cost you? £50? £80k? If you went to pick your brand new car up and it had a scratch down the side and sales man said, “don’t worry it’ll buff out” would you still buy it?

No excuse for that! If it was just a minor chip then fair enough, but that amount of damage is not acceptable! Either flaws in the casting process or poor handling - either way you shouldn't be expected to put up with it.

The problem is there are shed builders and shed builders. There are only a few companies banned from advertising on here. All but one are shed builders. Lots of lies and dishonesty is my experience of dealing with them.

Ask for the panels to be replaced. I can see why they would want to repair them. But you are the customer. Ask for what you want.

Definitely putting the trainees on the handler when shouldn't have or somebody needs to go to Specsavers for an eye test if or when open

As a slight aside I was wondering which manufacturers the shed quote in quote me goes out to?

On topic it’s most likely roughish handling, although we have had some delivered fairly green from one Cheshire manufacturer that were hard not to damage. No problems with a few loads from unbrako.

Not really my place. They aren’t allowed to advertise based on their actions with us as a company not because I have had a shed from them. They have advertised on here in the past though before we realised what they were like.

It auto goes out to the following who have asked to be included. Companies around the country. Not all country wide. Happy to add more.
