no wonder the hogg average is dropping, there were some fair specimens in longtown this morning. It must be a skill to keep them as small, my march born lambs will be bigger! Ewes seamed a fair trade tho.
There’s certainly some comical types in this week. Ruck of Cheviot x shetlands just gone through, top of heads would be knee high

Meant to be dropping my daughter off at the station then heading down to Newcastle dog track for a good night's racing (all part of the job description!). This girl had other ideas. Established that head and legs were coming before I headed off. No further progress was the report however and had to turn back at Morpeth. Took a fair pull but worth the hour drive back!
