Had my last hoggs in longtown, 2 Cheviot tup hoggs £164 and a wether I thought was a gimmer til it nearly lost it c*ck when I was clipping them also £164 and a mongrel at £147. Good meat but a good trade I’d say!

Meant to be dropping my daughter off at the station then heading down to Newcastle dog track for a good night's racing (all part of the job description!). This girl had other ideas. Established that head and legs were coming before I headed off. No further progress was the report however and had to turn back at Morpeth. Took a fair pull but worth the hour drive back!
