Ceud mille fàilte to all buyers.Doesn’t help that after 10 years we were still treated as “the enemy” by sellers, buyers and certain auctioneers alike. Come up here and the hospitality is top notch

Yes mainly, this mornings.Dead ones?
Good for the sellers, not so much for you.Well bugger it. Sat here 3 hours and not bid once. If anything they’re getting a touch dearer. No point wasting the rest of my day and risking getting stuck with a pen of dear lambs. Ewes look a better trade than the fat tbh, so I’m off south again.
Oh a brilliant day to be a sellerGood for the sellers, not so much for you.

If only they would spread out.Don't worry. You're not alone. Although I do try to spread mine out a bit. Makes me feel a bit better.
Feckin typical. Pay a fella to do a job and buggers off with the proceedsWell I got here and someone else was in my seat. I will be having words with the seat warmer. Might have to leave him a negative feedback on Checkatrade.
The probably thought half a cup of tea wasn’t enough of a payment.Feckin typical. Pay a fella to do a job and buggers off with the proceeds

I don’t know I kind of want expect it most days lately. Had a dozen this week. They like to spring it on us when we're least expecting it.
Always move stock south if you want it to thrive@Anymulewilldo I think I've asked before but why Scotland for store lambs? I just looked on Google maps and Dingwall is 8 hours from me so must be 7 from you. Why go so far when you could have welsh lambs from West Wales at less than half the distance away half the transport costs would save a fair bit before you even start wouldn't it
How do you measure "not the biggest"?Store lambs a good trade in Dingwall so far . Not the biggest of cheviots to be £70 and if they’ve a touch of meat straight to mid 80’s
24-27kgs with a bright head and tight jacketHow do you measure "not the biggest"?
I got £66 for a pen of 45 Cheviots that averaged 27.5kg over the scales yesterday.
Not necessarily. Snowdonia is south of anymule but sheep from there would thrive just as well as scotch lambs.Always move stock south if you want it to thrive
I'm sure there are execptions. That's usually the best way to do it, it has to happen at some point anyway. Be a well moving small lambs. Not necessarily. Snowdonia is south of anymule but sheep from there would thrive just as well as scotch lambs.
Definetly move them downhill though.
