This time next season Rodney... Little Ireland will probably be leading the league as usual but I'd put money Glasgow and Edinburgh both being in the top 4.

We really need a 3rd team
For competition I'd agree but would it get support? And/or does it spread us too thin ala Wales just now?

On another note, good to see a Cumnock lass (dad works on a well known local farm) scoring Edinburgh's first try in the ladies Celtic Challenge match.

Also notice Glasgow sitting third but all of their matches so far have been against other top 10 teams!

Once Dodson goes SRU should find itself better off financially...
We could always do the 'cheap' option and back London Scottish properly.

Glasgow should really be higher, but as you say they've had a tough road so far... injuries are coming now though so not sure if they can keep it going. 6N will hurt them too

Indeed, hopefully the "lesser" opposition will help a bit.

Smith, Cancelliere and Steyn all out - arguably their first choice back 3, but then again Edinburgh were missing Graham, Van Der Merwe and Bofelli when they won in Belfast 🤷🏻‍♂️

Have you asked him or can you remember him?
Before my time. Grandads mentioned him in the past. First time he was going on holiday to Scotland with Nanna, called in at Kendal on the way up and bought a great ruck of Rough Fell draft ewes for next to nowt. Was going to send for our wagon and the auctioneers introduced him to Clogs. They went on holiday and the sheep arrived back here. Used him a bit after that.

Land drainage £12-£1500 an acre will last 50-100 years maybe need a jet every 25-30 years so call it 2K an acre for 50 year £40 an acre more output should be easily recouped I would say 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ But I do have a drainer sitting on the farm just now doing a bit for me 🤣😂
TBF not rejuvenating the drainage systems on your land is not an option. Your a martyr to the drain s on your stuff 🙈

.....and the top deck didn't have a roof - you just had to go up there and jam the ar$es, of the outside row, into the boards, so they didn't jump off - or am I just an old bloke talking about stuff you young guns have ever seen :scratchhead:
