He will be penning ewes and lambs up in them before he’s finished!!We need an update. How many pens now? Are you into double figures yet?
That's how it goes here. Filling them quicker than we can make them. This year we will be more organised........

Put fert on my WB 2 days ago, hardly marked it.Spraying today? I'm still waiting for the ground to be fit to get my pre-em spray on my Winter Barley! That's with a SP sprayer on floats, so no chance of getting the tractor on to apply fert.
Estate was out putting liquid on an nearly vanished in some places.

We'll be dipping gimmer lambs first week in April when they return from wintering, before they go back to the fell, if only all our neighbours would do the same

All your neighbours will be blaming you as you need to dip yours!
Different area, Different routine. We dip rarely. Sheep don't often mix with others. We are not buying and selling stores either.
Doesn’t matter if your sheep get in a 5 mile radius of another… if you have crows you can have scab

Yes that was grazed a little bit too hard probably but it’s growing back nicely. Got another block that was grazed that looks an absolute picture, I could probably graze it again there’s been that much regrowthHave you grazed that at all. Looks good
Not so much close neighbours, most of them dip aswel, more of a problem further along the fell, general opinion in our parish is that any sheep that have been wintered away should be dipped before returning to the fellAll your neighbours will be blaming you as you need to dip yours!

Sounds a good plan especially if they all graze together. The ones who don't think they have a problem probably cause everyone else's problems, but don't see it.

Do you ever try and have a meet up down the pub , and try and encourage everyone to dip?
Or would it descend into chaos and be worthless?
