Noticed the words sheep grazing in it. What is your dissertation about?
Also what is a dissertation for those of us who aren't as well educated :bag:

Dad came home with new one recently and it was nearly £500 so worth fixing the old one somehow. He didnt ask the price.... I've patched holes in a couple of mine and now I paint the inside of them as soon as it looks like rusting now I know how much a new one is.
I've dragged a couple of others out of the scrap pile to sort as well 😳
I bought 2 brand new last year £300 a piece surely they’ve not gone up that much 😳😳😳

The growth response of winter wheat from sheep grazing. It’s not been my best work so once finished will get put in a drawer never to be seen again 😂 Definitions vary but for this one it’s a 10k word study and literature review on a topic of your choice.

Hi all,
Might be a bit off topic but im getting my 8ft creep feeders out, one of the base trays have seen better days with rust/holes etc.
does any one know where to get replacement trays for IAE or Bateman feeders?
or is it now scrap? TIA
Lick bucket lids & tek screws................lots of tek screws.............seems to be the method of choice in these parts.
or get your local blacksmith to fold up some repair panels.

Your local agricultural fabricators should be able to knock something up? Around us (north Cheshire) we use Millward & Keeling at Nether Alderley. There’s not much they can’t do

Well, after a mad rush today the first 400 ewes were in by half 7 tonight. Something therapeutic about standing in the shed listening to the hail bounce off the tin sheets while the ewes are all laid up to their bellies in fresh straw as calm and contented as you like 👌👌. Todays weather almost had 2 pairs of twins away. Thankfully they’ve all responded to dry, draught free penning inside and the ewes aren’t short of milk so that’ll do. Just the next 200 to get in tomorrow and that leaves 180 singles outside down the village and the ewe hoggs that are away on keep still

There were some Hogg hoppers in the sale at Bentham today. I rang to put a price on them and the reserve was £150 above my price 😳 I’ve ordered 2 brand new for £100 more than the reserve price… 🤷🏻 might as well have new kit for that difference! They weren’t even that smart looking, but they’d have done the job if handy money!!
All that profit going to your head

Balbirnie- that's not @unlacedgecko sheep that are having a negative impact on grain yield? I appreciate there are other positives.

They way things are looking/the arable lads are talking, it might be more relevant to evaluate the impact on straw yield this season.

I was at a sale once and watching something sell and a chap said might as well buy a new one and it'll be advantageous on tax, didn't really understand and never seen owt about it so not sure

Only in that paying more will reduce any profit (& tax) by more. As far as expenses are concerned, new or secondhand purchases are treated exactly the same.

Looks like it.

I recognise the field names as well. I'd not seen the data tbh. I blame the shepherd.
