Hell fire šŸ˜©šŸ˜©

sounds like you need the local deer stalker to just spend a bit of time shooting feral tups next September.

Will just have to bring them in earlier next year....like September šŸ¤£. Theres that much shite around even if i cleared the hill 2/3 times something would still make it out and I'll still be stressed about it. Hopefully if I get the bulk in by the middle of October I'll be alright.

I'm going to buy in about 20 gimmers and just pray they work and stay with my own sheep. the areas massive and if I'm out there why not make it more worthwhile.

Get a gang in to clear gather it. Sell/kill any ferals you find.

View attachment 1174632What a ballcocks afternoon- ewe straining a load more than usual- ended up a car crash of a lambing, lambs had been dead 36 hours ish and she was aborting. Looked good lambs too šŸ˜”
Your not the only one who had a sh!t day yesterday. I had a really good day in the pissing wet was it saturday or Sunday?can't remember but I only lost one to the weather from a shearling from 35-40 that lambed and one that was stuck with a crooked leg i think. Everything is blurring into one now but it was a great day considering the weather.
Made up for it yesterday and lost 10 lambs. There was only 2 I could have done anything about the rest were all something wrong with them but still its annoying. 3 dead from a set of quads, one twin with a mummified lamb in the afterbirth and a brain damaged one that had to be put down, another old twin with a live lamb and a black lump of a lamb shaped thing, one had a live lamb fine and another tiny one that never got up and probably never would, one twin with one ok and the other looked fine saw it born and breathing and trying to get up dead an hour later, one twin with a prolapse that I puller one fine and the other was alive when I first got hold of it then it was dead when it got out. One was a shearling wirh a triplet that the first lamb was stuck and dead the other 2 were OK. Annoying with her I should have seen her earlier but was caught up sorting out the other problems šŸ¤¦
Everything was going really well till yesterday šŸ™„ don't know why I counted the dead ones I never do usually won't be doing it again either.

It still won't solve it tbh. The common is right slap bang in the centre of the Island. Animals can get onto it from any direction at any point and head out. Theres one guy who has sheep roaming everywhere and they are the main problem. If I cleared it tomorrow, something could get back out next week

Take a dead one with you an drop it on his door step, tell him theyā€™ll be more to come if he doesnā€™t play nicely
