Not used this one. But I have an old ultra scanner and it was fab
Use a bit of KY jelly and put it on the soft bit of belly inside the back legs and wait to hear the unmistakeable Swush-Swush-swish sound

We use the Draminski as our old Medata one broke irreparably, it is a bit tricky to use and you have to do each pig 3 times to confirm (we only use it on gilts before they are allowed in the big sow yard) but it appears to tell the truth, I would love a decent Medata one back again, but no longer made.

Thank you both, seems reasonably priced for what it is... compared to others models anyway, and wondered if the quality reflected that.... As you say Pan Mixer- tricky ect.
