Connecting handbreak after years.

The handbrake cable has been gone on my 100 90 with at least 5 years. Tractor is semi retired now so cable was never replaced until I got one today.

Any fear of handbrake sticking on inside once pulled up and that I won't be able to get it off? There is a lever which the cable goes onto outside near the half axle. Should I work this by hand first?

What is the
100 90? Fiat?
I don't know anything about them but what type of handbrake is it?

It's a transmission brake of which the brake discs are immersed in oil. The unit is bolted on to the left hand side just in front of the half axle. Work the lever by hand first anyway,but it shouldn't be a big job to remove the support housing if need be. Don't see why anything should stick tbh.
