Has anybody found a way of rejuvenating or renewing grass seeds without using the plough whilst effectively controlling docks?

Waiting with baited breff to read the replies, Ptj. The blasted things even thrive with ploughing, in my experience.

If only docks were bred to be palatable to livestock, and have high nutritional value...

Ploughing will only make them worse. Best to spray with something like Dockstar but it will kill your clover too. Clover friendly sprays aren't as effective IME.

Direct drill a pure grass mix and spray the ‘nads out of it. We’ve found fluroxypyr (hatchett xtra) to as good and cheaper then doxstar.

yes, you needs lots of forks and people! Can be done if not bad but if they have seeded in the past a waste of time.
Thats good to hear that it works. Ive got a new reseed and it has a muckspreader wide strip up one place with docks in it were dad used muck that hadnt rotted down to fill the spreader when the rotted down stuff had run out
Will spot spray them if the weather cooperates but it doesnt most of the time :(
