Hi
I was looking to adjust the handbrake on our JD2040 today - however, there appears to be a little obstacle in my way with regards to following the advice in the manual:
#1 - Tick
#2 - Tick - although SG2 cab restricts access with large screwdriver somewhat, but can be done, and previous owner has set about the rear of the cab with the angle grinder to cut slots in the cab etc.
#3 - I believe I am looking at the correct adjuster - nearside of chassis, above where the pivot for the hitch is.
#4- Now I am all OK up until I need to follow step 4, as the hitch appears to be covering where I believe one would normally find the end of and adjust the slotted screw stated in the manual above, so am I correct in thinking there should normally be a hole in the hitch to allow for adjusting the said screw, as it is not obvious one is there (I did lower the hitch to look - and all I could identify was a recessed nut / bolt that appears to be part of the hitch I believe).
Many thanks
