Would it be possible to convert this sucker/blower to a pto driven machine rather than 3phase electric?

It has 2 motors on it tho, 1 on main fan

And 1 smaller 1 on the bottom of Venturi funnel

Would it be a case of just connecting small motor drive to the main 1 with some belts and the main 1 straight to pto or do they have to run at a certain speed

What speed does the big motor run at?
not sure, it's just a thinking project atm, going to be used to blow feed into old grain bins than have been converted into bunker type hoppers already, the 3 phase supply has been disconnected in the old drier shed but could be reinstated, but I was just thinking the other day if it could be converted to pto then could be used anywhere

Speak to les and trade it for a pto version. Its a high speed thing and you could upset the fan balance by grafting a pto on,
Trading this one for a pto version makes most sense to me. Attempting to re-engineer this to run on pto and you could end up with at worst a pile of scrap and at best something that will probably result in smoke coming from the ears of the heath and safety inspector.

In a word no, there are some heavy duty 4 belt step up pulleys on a PTO model, and the power going through them will have 80hp on its knees.
Got a SUC500T here I would sell, if you fancy it...

Can be done, you will need step up pulleys for the main fan help if you have 1000 rpm pto but the motor speed should be on the plate.
The small motor is absolutely critical to get that speed wrong, you will continually be blocking , or it will take forever to move anything.
However if it was my machine I would take it to a scapyard, it wont be worth anyth8ng, but you will save a lot of time and effort
