I would have thought making return to the car without walking through it would be an apt punishment.
Quite right Bob, Might even have been worth getting a second load and making it a good thick layer for feet to sink into!
I expect though that the owner merely reached for his phone, and called a recovery crew, followed by the police, though "Karma" it was a stupid thing to do.
On a far more disturbing bent, some years ago, the game keeper found a car, nice new top of the range Jaguar, parked in the estate woods, he left it alone but there it stayed, after a week, he took a closer look, spotted the pipe leading from the exhaust to the inside, then called the police! There was a body inside, and the garage I worked for had the pleasure of recovering the car, once the remains had been removed.

although it can be very aggravating when folk park in gate ways and hinder work i cant see what the problem was ok the chap parked in the field but wasn't doing any harm,we get loads of them picknicers and campers as long as they clear up after themselves i don't mind why antagonise the public

Had this happened on other private land I wonder what would have happened?

Clamped? Fined? Towed away?

Sadly farmers are easy targets both to take advantage of, and then blame later rather than the person taking responsibility for their ill judged actions.
