Does anyone have the details of countback re the scores, I believe GA is 1st on the list but then it doesnt automatically run up the sheet from the bottom. Just interested as recently had a match where countback was used but the lower 2 aspects were the same, just wanted to know what the order is.
Richard Ingram had a copy of the countback rules at Whitchurch but I forgot what the aspects were and order they were in.

Think it's the total of the main aspects firstly, thereafter I'm less clear how it is resolved.

from a book I have it reads as follows - conventional ploughing,
the ploughman to win will have the highest number of points in one aspect, taken in the following order ;
1 -general appearance,2-uniformity,3 -seedbed,4- firmness,5-finish,6-start,7-ins and outs,8- opening.

That's not quite correct straighteness is 2nd aspect to be considered, this is out of programme sold at the national ploughingmatch.
Reversible is a) General appearance b)straighteness c) uniformity d) seed bed e) firmness f)start g) start h) accuracy of final furrow i) joining furrow & butts j) ins & outs k) opening. Hope this helps (y)(y)

Many thanks for this, straightness was'nt on the actual score sheet, guess it was an old style sheet but answers my question, thanks.
