Cover crop bean seed rate

Morning. Like plenty of others I suppose, I will be scattering a few beans ahead of the plough/combi when drilling wheat, after both cereals and grass, to fulfill the aims of my multi species cover crops.

How few can I get away with? Bodied land and likely DFF in the pre-em.

Any more thoughts on this.
I can get my hands on a 250kg bag of beans, but would be a rate of 12.5kg/acre, in a field of wheat.
Otherwise it's 25kg, which is 25% of a drilling rate

Last year I put 30kg in with every 500kg seed bag wheat - worked well but thin - am going to do 50kg this year - also trying sanfoin - no idea on seed rate
Sfi 23 so only 2 seeds

What would that work out per acre - 7.5kg acre?
I was drilling at 220kg per ha of wheat so will be 22kg beans per ha (9kg ac) was half that this year and worked just looked bit thin - might try linseed if it will come through pre em - was told sainfoin will work

Great how we are not many weeks from start of drilling in not many weeks and I am not the only one still scratting around as to exactly how I will be doing this.

Was thinking about 20Kg/ha beans? Some is after filthy crops of OSR that had no herbicide, some is currently AHL1 nectar pollen which I cant decide if I it should be destroyed by spray or flail...

Will then be ploughed and Lemken combi drilled. Best to broadcast the beans ahead of the plough or mix into the drill? Do they meter alright with such different seed size mixed? Tempted to experiment with a few handfuls of things but not sure what? Oats? Black Oats, small white clover, lindseed, sainfoin, even OSR? What has reasonable expectations of meeting the aims but will not cause issues later on...?

Any thoughts on what companion slugs might prefer to eat instead of wheat...?

Span beans on at 30kg/ha in front of the drill last year. Result looked like this. Will probably up it to 40kg/ha this year

Know the TGW of the beans before deciding on a rate as it can make a big difference, it’s not uncommon for beans to fluctuate 25% YOY. Personally I’d be aiming for about 5-10 plants per metre.
