Yes, I agree... I guess there are more worrisome risks for me, like getting hit by meteorite(also not zero).
How many healthy people under 60 in the whole world do you think have previously contracted and easily overcome the virus only to die the following year by contracting it again?
If you follow the link to the Nature paper, it answers your questions in detail, including statistics concerning the 15 genome sequences in question. You come across as uncaring to the people that may have a susceptibility?
I have no idea about your second question.

Works for me? Try Googling “genes linked to severe covid identified” that will take you direct to Nature pape I think…..really very interesting….thought provoking.
i don’t know how many people under 60 that have recovered then died within 12 months of covid.

Try Nature.com then search”virus susceptibility “…..I think you will find it very interesting.
you do understand the level of risk for young people?
There are many more serious risks to their health like the needless focus on this very small one.
Imo The people who are uncaring are those who slavishly stoke fear of one relatively harmless virus.
This fear causes death and harm on a scale that dwarfs the number that could possibly be said to have died "of" rather than "with" covid.

I don’t think anyone understands the level of risk to young people, you included.
Yes, there are lots of other influences with regards health, perhaps “luck” is the most important one…
We will have to agree to disagree on whether covid is relatively “harmless”…
i do tend to agree that it is now time to regain some normality within society for the reasons you state, but not to ignore the very real effects that covid has had and will continue to have, is unacceptable.
Try and give the Nature paper a read, I do think you will find it interesting.

The article below the one you highlighted about Israel made interesting reading.
Worryingly after vaccinating the majority of their population their cases at the moment are even higher given the size of their population than it is here, this is not a natural virus & will not follow normal rules!

A doctor on tv said last week they should forget cases , just do admissions and deaths
