Cowcare rope scrapers

Has anyone who’s has had these remember their code and if it’s unique?

It transpires today on a bleak Sunday morning that they’re only set to run 100 times then lock out without the code.

Im more than a little bit pee'd off as it has meant that we were unable to run them manually this morning when we had a cow down in the cubicles to gain better access to her.

Hoping the collective may have an answer to rectify this in the short term.

On our old joz scrapers I figured I could jam the contactor with a screwdriver, this would then override everything.

Newer set ups will be miles more complicated, although I’m fairly sure the dairypower ropes will be easier to boss.

Tell them you want every possible code you’d ever need emailing.

Words are going to be had tomorrow that’s for dam sure. I’m really not had at all as it was it was a down cow I needed to access but there could’ve been an emergency where I needed to run the motor and was unable to do so.

Apart from changing the rope is there much else to do?

What code is needed? The ones I play with are a simple electronic box with a rotary switch? If a moron like me can operate them then they can't be that complex?

We have cowcare rope scrappers in now a number of years and so have a few neighbours and we can only run them on manual. If set on automatic, they fail to run the routine correctly. After they finish the routine, the scrapper stops like it should but it starts up again automatically and pulls it self into the wall/stopper again before stopping. Would do this a couple of times. Broke a few ropes. Neighbours all do the same. They had cowcare out to fix them but they just uploaded the software again. 10minute job that cost a fortune to do. The invoice they sent was eye watering and it only lasted a fortnight at best from what I hear from some of the neighbours.

Still remains unworkable in automatic. Don’t know why it’s always in auto mode which messes up.

Anyone know why this happens? It appears they have changed the control boxes now going by the photos on their Facebook page. Maybe they had to.

Was thinking of ripping one of ours out, the steel blade version. A nightmare on cows feet compared to the rubber version. Robotic scrapper would be nice even though more expensive.
