I do quite like my Massey's but for like maybe 20mins a day max and certainly not at those prices.
£50k are you sure? Maybe you should see a doctor I think you might of just had a stroke or something probably..

That's a 2wd tractor sold for £50K 😮
There must be a mistake or the buyer is going to disappear..

I've got a 398mf 2wd if anyone wants it going cheap at £45K.....

I was watching the livestream and there were 2 bidders online, one from Lancashire and one from Scotland. Think it was the Scotsman who got it.

You didn't do road testing with them around Coventry did you
Worked for a multi branch East Anglian MF dealership from 1974 till 2002 , so PDI'ed most of the models manufactured during those years. Tended to sell the more upmarket models, 500, 600, 2000, 3000, 3600, 6100, 8100 series rather than the lower spec 200 and 300 series. Never really rated the 300 series much due to its cramped cab, plasticky dashboard and poor heater / ventilation. Always thought the basic 200 series was a better, more robust tractor for the smaller / livestock farmer.

Yes the cab does seem to let it down a bit , always wanted 300 but when you look at cab you wonder how you will get an Alsatian on one side and jack Russell on the other( like I can in zetor cab 7340 cab) and don't think it will happen. ...😏

Obviously the steam engines were the major draw, but as with most things these days, buyers only want something they can relate to. How many of us are old enough to remember seeing steam ploughing apart from on the rally field?
I understand both of the Fowler BB engines have been totally restored and can only imagine the cost of that work. I would have thought the owners were looking for north of £350,000 for the pair.
