What is the best records plan to keep track of all operations in the field? Needs to be simple and possibly, able to link in to weather conditions at the time. Any other automatic features would be useful too.

Forget the fancy stuff and use a spread sheet. I'll send you a template if that helps.
Why does it need to link to weather conditions? It will usually be too windy for spraying.
I don't think 'simple' and 'automatic features' go together IME.
