Crystalix Cattle Booster any good?

As the title says are they any good? Is it cost effective?
Went into a local store for some wormer and ended up buying a couple just to try. They absolutely love them, a crew off 36 stores got through a 22.5 kg bucket in 4 days.
They are fed ad-lib grass silage, rolled barley mixed with molasses and minerals in the morning and then tates at dusk. They also have salt readily available.
So are they worth putting in or are they getting sufficient already or do they need a different supplement?
Thanks

They are a luxury in most cases.
The main excuse for wasting money would be if you feel they would help remedial feeding for emaciated ewes or cows, or as a boost for leanish or broken - mouthed ewes carrying triplets.

I give them to my heifers intended for breeding. Ad lib good silage and no concentrates. The heifers really thrive and show men in the yard don’t believe me when I say they get no meal.

High quality product but very expensive...! Cattle eat them like a kid on sweets!

I reckoned they are excellent when supplementing forage and you cannot feed cake rations. However, I went for Rumevite blocks at 440/t a fortnight ago as opposed to Chrstalyxx at nearly a £Grand/t thoughh. :)

By the sound of things I won’t be giving them any bucket licks over winter but I think I’ll give them a lick when out at grass.
Do you think them rumetive blocks are any good then or still a waste of money?
