Current PPA prices?

are there any suppliers offering a higher ppa for occasional half hrs when renewable supply cant keep up with demand say day ahead if weather is forecast poor for wind and sun

Limejump do a tracker. (others probably do as well) Day ahead prices, they estimate what you will produce normally and then sell it ahead, but you can change your production figures a day or so ahead. Anything exported that is over and above your prediction is then sold on the spot market. Equally, if you export less than predicted its still sold ontn he day ahead but you end up buying back on the spot market. This can be painful if you have contracted to sell at 55/mwh and then have to buy back at £100! But nice if you got it right and sold spot in the right period. Huge variations in the spot market, it goes negative occasionally.
