Hello all first time poster here. Got a new case maxxum 150 multicontroller at work this week. Got a dab radio and aerial, ive placed the aerial on the roof next to the roof window. The aerial is mounted on a small plate which is screwed to the rood using the roof screw. and run a power lead from the radio to the aerial. When using the work lights it makes the radio cut out, switch them off and it gets reception again. Any hints or tips? Will take a photo tomorrow.

Led lights are probably the cause as cheap ones will interfere badly with your radio

It also depends on the signal strength in your area, and how good your aerial is.

I'm in a very poor reception area. The best aerials I've found are from Dab on wheels.

I've a magentic mount on one tractor, and an external glass mount on the pickup. Theres no drop out with them, even though the tractor has lots of led lights.

My other tractor has a mag mount from halfords. Signal is lost all the time, even without the lights switched on. It's on my to do list to replace that aerial!!

Yes i have had it happen with led lights! Also put led lights in the cattle shied and they interfere with the radio as you drive past them. Dont know how to stop it sorry

Does anyone know how to 'tune' a DAB radio?

I retrofitted a DAB radio to the sprayer, and every time I turn the radio on it retunes itself to the BBC Asian Network, when I'd rather be listening to Radio 6. I'm now a reluctant expert on Bollywood soundtracks and Bangra music.

It lists different bandwidth as '5C, 6C' etc, I've no idea how to navigate to where I'm looking for. God help me, I've turned into my technophobe parents.

Have you got a continuos live feed to the radio or a battery for the memory in the radio.
