what the hell has that got to do with anything.?
Because I am interested.
Website states 825 million litres from 700 farmers, thats 15% of UK dairy farms? A substantional player in the UK milk market don't you think?
But nothing in the milk price tracker on pricing?

@Sid you have taken this off topic as usual, you have no interest in what I do other than to pick a fight, split the industry and criticise anyone other than Omsco. We have been there many times. I am a massive advocate for the industry becoming consumer driven, Brexit will require this more than ever, I am still pushing this on a farm level and the support for change remains. However retailers and processors want a divided industry scraping by, they achieve this because we have a core of producers like you take huge enjoyment in kicking the sh!t out of their colleagues. I will not discuss with you on here or in person what I am up to in my business as its none of yours. This thread is about leasing extra cows, so either add to the thread or sTroll elsewhere.

Been offered Jan calving cows at £650 today, looking at the weekend.

I have asked the question on your milk prices on the milk price thread. Reply would be good for comparison

BS, you have just confirmed exactly the motives I outlined above. We broker deals we dont buy milk, thats been made clear and you know that, those deals are between producer and buyer, get on subject or get off. End.

They must have been bloody thin, I averaged £320 and upto £560 for a dozen pure jersey culls a fortnight ago.
Not necessarily thin, but there's cows and then there's cows, they do varrie, sold a half meated jersey last week that had spent the last 3 years trying to stamp on my hands when I put the unit on, decided enough was enough £195, on that basis they must have been bloody fat.
