Apparently the gossip at the sale was that Mr day has also bought the next door farm as well but when all the talk was that he paid £16000 per acre ( caution as this is the gossip price ) is there any wonder .

I heard his land agent has visited 8 farms on the A6 that were not up for sale and wanting to buy them

Yes I know of two of them who can confirm that but have turned him down , both reasonably near greengill .
