Anyone else get a bill from AHDB DairyPro for £20 +vat and a begging letter from Oliver Hall , I know some milk buyers want producers to do this but we pay between £80 and £100 a month to them an I think that is more than enough for what we get !!

Whats the begging letter saying? Apart from give us more money! I stopped DairyPro a few years ago as it didn't offer any more than we can learn on here or by reading the farming press. Lots of good webinars for free now as well to watch.

It goes on about Covid bla bla bla and then says " Your membership will ensure you are compliant with farm assurance and customer standards, can continue making the most of the online courses during restrictions.

There are not any 'special' DairyPro courses so no. It is a way of collating registered training in the form of CPD points, aimed mainly at improving and recognising training and career structure for employees.

Yeah just to be clear, all AHDB meetings and webinars etc are levy funded and therefore free to levy payers. DairyPro just collates your CPD so that’s what the £20 must be for. If you are doing QVis etc, you’d already be doing CPD.

Does the letter imply you need DairyPro in order to be compliant with assurance?
