Could anyone recommend where to get a wiring loom for a 1963 990 implematic with a push button start, I can find plenty available for selectamatics but not implematics.

You can buy them online, but having done so once for a 770, I would say forget it and make your own. It really is very simple. The ones available are generic ( mine came from case) but would equally fit any tractor of that age. I only bought it as I thought it would be cheaper than buying several rolls of wire and tape , but at the end of the day spent so much time modifying it, it would have been quicker and cheaper making from scratch.
Get a wiring diagram some rolls of 5, 15 and 30 amp cable and the same in earth. Some crimps and a crimping tool

The last time I did anything like this, I went to the vehicle dismantlers and got some car wiring. It gets a much better selection of sizes and colours..

This, everyone laughs at me for stripping a front loom out of cars going for scrap and removing the fuses and relays!! The bucket of relays, fuses etc proves invaluable at times! Especially when randomly you need a flipping 1 or 3 amp mini fuse…

I have used these guys for a loom for a 4600, looks like they do DB ones too.
