Davlec auto ID

Does anyone use this? We already have the davlec control box and display for our auger master feeders, so would only need to buy the readers and tags. Can it be set up to auto feed to yield? Any suggestions and input appreciated.

Yeah we feed to yield with davlec auto ID. Very good simple system with aerial on each cow manager space. Highly recommended, they are an excellent company. Buy direct from them if you can. Tags can be bought anywhere.

Thank you, do your milk metres connect to the feed system automatically, if so what make are they? We currently don’t have metres but we record once a month with manual hook on metres so was just planning on changing the feed rates each month after recording, untill we splash out on metres.

Also, would I need any extra software other than what I already have for my feeders? I will be speaking to them directly soon, but just wanted to learn a bit more about them. ?

Scratch that I’ve found a quote I had and they’re website is most helpful. It seems to be the actual feeder unit not anything else that’s expensive. Has anyone managed to adapt batch feeders?

Thank you @newholland ? if anyone else has the davlec auto ID system please let me know what you think of it.
We’ve davlec out of parlour feeders in 6 years now, very reliable system, only issue we have is with new alflex Id tags, the reader recognises the tag is there but refuses to process the info regarding feed rates, when same info is loaded into an old tag there is no problems, very confusing
