Making an enquiry to see if anyone is breaking a DB 1690 with a manual gearbox.
I know a bloke who's after a complete 1690 manual transmission.
Gearbox
Casting it sits in.
Lid
Drop box.

I think the only other DB with same manual transmission would be a 1594.
But they are extremely rare, most 1594s & all 1694s were hydrashift !

Probably trying to replace a Hydro box and its associated issues. Not sure if it is at all easy

Before he buys it may well be worth asking on the DBTC forum, I am certain it is not as easy as dropping a manual in. I have never tried it though.
I seem to remember there is a serious technical problem

Don't go mad on parts this was at 2k when I last saw it last week, its back up again.
Not sure whats wrong with it though?
