Hi i have a david brown 990 selectormatic with front loader. all the hydraulic pipes are damaged or blown. the thread sizes are very old think they are unf. i was hoping some one may help. the only pipes i can buy are with bsp fitting so will need to use adaptors.

Anywhere that makes up hydraulic hoses should have the fittings or be able to get them so no need for adapters.
As said the fittings on the rams, steel pipes, valve block etc are jic. From the factory the hoses that had a quick release fitting on had jic both ends and then a jic to bsp adapter but you can save fittings and put a bsp end on those hoses.
The parts book lists the fittings as 3/4 unf but I take that to be what we now call 3/4 jic.
