DD 2nd wheat into greenery

Rotations out the window due to the weather and we don’t grow 2nd cereals but we’ve got greened over wheat stubbles that should be going to potatoes and maize and I can see these travelling better than the osr stubbles we’ve lightly carriered. So a swaps on the cards. The question is dare we go straight into the wheat stubbles with a horsch? We can spray them off as the tramlines are in a decent state and we’ll also be able to pre-em because we won’t rip the tramlines up deep with the horsch. Any views please as it’s unchartered territory for us but I’d rather have 3t/ac of wheat to harvest than none!
