Decent app for DAB radio on iPod

As per the title really. Mrs B's cheapo DAB radio is dying and I have a perfectly good Bose sound dock next to it with an old iPod touch with Wifi.

Any good recommendations? I already have the BBC radio iPlayer app. I listen to stations like Absolute, Jack/Sam FM occasionally.

Knowing nowt about iAnything but pretty sure you won't get DAB radio on it.

You should however, be able to get 'internet radio' - on my Android phone, I use the Tune In Radio App http://tunein.com/ to listen to radio from all round the world via t'internet
I'm sure other similar apps are available.

I listen to the heart app, it has a few other stations on it too owned by the same parent company. Android though.
I did try some other radio apps and didn't find one that didn't sh!t itself regularly so gave up. Heart and radio two do me.

Just started using Tunein too, seems pretty good so far for wifi listening. Also use Radio Player app when outside for fave stations.

Doh! Just tried downloading the Tune In app but it needs iOS 9.3 or newer. My old 3rd gen iPod Touch is on 6 point something and no longer supported.

I'm sure there must be another radio app that you can try - if they are free, it's no great problem to try a few and keep the one you like, is it?
