Just wondering anybody ever put there own deck lights onto a stock box, not sure if to wire Into the side lights directly or if it will increase the load too much. Other options could be a extra cable to the tractor or if anybody has any ideas would be great, I would be putting 4 small led lights on to it

Wire into the sidelights be ok, you will need a switch somewhere though and everything needs to be up out the way of beasts and not troubled by pressure washing, so make sure everything is sealed.

Yeah gonna be properly sealed and a switch too, maybe should have a fuse too? Gonna be outside the trailer so be out the way and just didn’t want to over load the side lights as they already have marker lights and a beacon on them this is what I’ve planned to put on View attachment 852715

Best wired into sidelights, imo.LED hardly add any load at all. I think it is a legal requirement that the interior should be lit when carrying stock when the vehicle should have it's lights on, so wiring into sidelights works well.

hard to get a quality light in led unless you want to pay a lot of money for one, Horpol or LED lighting i find are good and not too dear, they may have something to suit.
the 24/7 stuff is pure scutter.

maybe a couple of led worklamps strategically placed would be better, you can get them in small 40x40 sizes too, maybe even smaller but they would be sealed at least.
