Is it possible to tell on a non runner if it is 30 or 40k? R reg 6800? Cheers

Might be wrong but i think if F range is blocked out it’s 30k, goes into F range then it’s 40k

Could be this. Our 6800 is 30k and just has 5 ranges. The 6600 before it was 40k and had 6 ranges.

6800 R reg here has ranges A to E whereas a 6410 of Y reg has ranges A to F. They are both 25mph.

6800 and 6900 only every have A-E no matter 30 or 40k, they never have F range. Pretty sure you can tell what transmission ratios from serial numbers.
6400 - 6600 may have A-D, A-E or A-F depending on spec, 68/69 are completely different transmission to the smaller models.
