Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone off hand knew the combine and / or platform offsets for the 2012-2015 (new shape cab) series combines?

Reason I ask is the combine doesn't have the 2630 on the armrest, so am using my own 2600 display externally, but doesn't seem to be any way to extract the offset information out the command center unless I'm being blind?

Ideally someone with a hillmaster model for exact measurements? Failing that will have to get the tape measure out! Amazed these measurements arnt all just listed online somewhere with JD, as surely other than platform width, all these dimensions for the combines are standard.... Unless they are displayed on the command center somewhere that I havent noticed?

Cheers,

With hillmaster the center of the combine doesn’t work perfectly due to the levelling so you have to leave a decent over/under lap to compensate. The hillmaster pendulum works contra to the gyroscope in the dome. I think with starfire 1 on a 20’ header I’m set at 18.5’ and occasionally that will miss a bit.You will need to measure as tyre sizes will affect settings along with header cutting width.

Surprised they didn't get that problem eliminated in software...Wouldn't take much given the distance of offset on the starfire unit would always be proportional to current HM angle....

Will bear that in mind...

Thank.

Get your tape measure out.

Not a bad thing to have a taller height on the receiver position. It would make the steering more likely to compensate, effectively increasing the sensitivity.
