Demand for grass.

Is demand strong in most areas or are people noticing a tighten up in the demand? Plenty of haylage bales left in yards round and about that are usually running out or all gone by now. It's the same when you speak to others. I know the winter was not favourable to sellers.

Also if there is a strong demand or over supply is bad grass worth having or even baling? I ask as someone local wants to bale some grass that is badly dog walked on and very little if none of it is picked up not to mention urinated all over. I can't see how this would make decent hay, haylage and definitely not silage. However they seem keen. It also suffer from ragwort which is growing well at the moment in the award. I've been offered it and wouldn't have it because of these reasons. The dilemma is also do I then tell anyone who they try to sell it to about the issues or just turn a blind eye knowing stock may well suffer and someone's income and livelihood too?

Waste time just top it, need a big digester that will live on crap grass that be best end to it

I can't see much demand for silage now or next winter unless we have a drought, loads of stuff about
contaminated stuff like that its best not to get involved with
we gave up some land years ago because of dog sh!t, wouldn't use the fodder myself and couldn't sell it to anyone else and sleep nights

My thoughts exactly why i wasn't interested. I think as these will shift it on it won't matter but for free stuff it morally wrong in my eyes.
