Deutz-Fahr Agroton 110

Hello I have a Deutz-Faht Agroton 110 from 1998 and I have an issue with the rear lifting. After I bought the tractor the lift arms were not working from inside cab controllers only from the buttons outside of the cab. After I washed the tractor they were not working at all, I have read on google and somehow found like a kind of manual where I read a list of errors. There is a light on the right side panel inside cab where you control PTO and lift arms , and based on the blinking of that light and the pause between you can count them and so you find the error. I have did the counting and so I have figured out that the error code is 18 or 1-8. In the manual mentioned before says that must be an open circuit or something like that , I took a look on the wire connections and also to the computers but can't find any bad connection or something like that , could you please provide me some hints that I may not know ? Thank you.

First thing is to open to the buttons on the fenders. They can be full of water, which will give you all kinds of problems with the lift. I don't remember if it should work if you just unplug the 4 buttons, as it is several years since i had this problem. We changed one button and it was working again.
If that doesn't help and you have a dealer or another tractor available, then swap the lift control box. It's located in the cab behind a plastic cover. It takes 5 minuttes to swap if you have one.
We have a 1998 agrotron 110 that we had from new, with 14.000 hours on now.
Best and most reliable tractor we have ever owned.
My experience with lift problems is that 98% of problems with the lift either come from the control box or water in the fenders where the buttons are located.

I will have a look at those buttons , about lift control box, as the name says it is a box ? As I remember there was some kind of a box connected to one of the computers ( electrical board )

It is a black plastic box with a multi connect cable clicked on to it. It is located under one of the plastic shields in the cab. Not where the main print circuit is.

Deutz are excellent tractors but must have the worst parts backup (in the UK anyway)

The problem was the switcher for lift arms, it has 3 positions : 1 , 2 and N . It had minor damage but was enough stop it working.

Patrick Deutz 110 A-S missing a few gears is it a big deal to fix

I'm far from being an expert when it comes to mechanical issues but imo it is hard to fix. ( the kind of operation which should be done by a dealer )
