It's worth repeating why Great Britain managed to survive 1940: brains, foresight, engineering excellence, and courage.

To me, the story suggests that we no longer have what it takes to stay ahead of competitors like, say, the Germans. We all need evidence for our views - there's mine....

now you see walt it aint that hard concise and to the point,bletchley park was the greatest war winner we had and saved the ruskies too despite the lucy spy ring.

Has anybody been to Lauingen - or SDF HQ Treviglio for that matter?

me and walt are pals and i like to spar with him and his repost was great i could talk all night with him on ww2 but he needs to cut down on the long wind and he did.
 
I've been to Treviglio the Same factory in Italy in 2010 , they build most of the tractors there up to 130hp, the Agrotron k models were built there at that time.
The engine plant has been dismantled there and relocated in India where they have just launched a new 4 and 6 cylinder engine known as the Farmotion, simultaneously selling their shares in Deutz AG, and Claas have just announced that they are working on a same based 70-110 hp range.
They are launching their 440hp tractor soon and it has a MTU engine.
