Has any one here ever seen or done diagonal Yorkshire boarding?seen a few pictures in magazines but would like some pictures of how it's done [emoji106]
You would think that heavy rain falling on the "tops" of the boards would either run down the boards, or through to the inside.

Took 5times longer then normal boarding
Looks well.
I still think driven rain will run down insides of boards a bit, but if customer is not worried, happy days.
How did you keep it all symmetrical, did you have to measure both ends of each board down from the eaves beam, and set them all the same in each section?
I can't believe this was for a farmer. I don't think it works any better. It does look different .and things are better different.
Can’t remember the name of the open ice cream farm up castle Douglas way we visited when on holiday, but remember been so impressed by their York boarding, I took pictures of it.......sad or what!ATTACH=full]593582[/ATTACH]
